PROTIA Strengthens Collaboration with Uzbekistan: Official Government Invitation, Keynote Presentation, and MOU with the National Allergology Center in Uzbekistan
South Korea is one of the fastest countries in the world to shift from traditional Skin Prick Testing (SPT) to blood-based specific IgE multiplex diagnostics.
Today, more than 80% of all allergy tests in Korea use the blood-based multiplex IgE method — the very diagnostic technology PROTIA has been leading and supplying for years.
Recognizing this transformation, the Government of Uzbekistan highlighted PROTIA’s significant role in advancing Korea’s modern allergy diagnostic ecosystem.
They acknowledged that the country’s move toward high-precision allergy diagnostics has been closely influenced by PROTIA’s technological innovation, product performance, and clinical collaborations.
As a result, the Ministry of Health officially invited PROTIA researchers as keynote speakers at the national allergy congress to directly present:
- PROTIA’s patented multiplex allergy diagnostic platform
- Advanced component-resolved diagnostics (CRD) technology
- Cross-reactivity differentiation methods
- Extensive clinical and research collaboration experience
PROTIA’s Presentation:
“Accurate Diagnostics Lead to Better Treatment”
During the congress, PROTIA shared the latest global trends in allergy diagnostics and real-world clinical applications, informed by years of experience in Korea and international markets.
A major focus of the presentation was Component-Resolved Diagnostics (CRD) — now considered an essential tool for personalized allergy management.
PROTIA explained how CRD helps clinicians:
- Separate cross-reactivity
- Identify major and minor allergenic components
- Improve treatment accuracy and clinical outcomes
Signing of an MOU with the National Allergology Center
Building a Future-Ready Allergy Diagnostic System in Uzbekistan
During the visit, PROTIA formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Republican Scientific and Specialized Allergological Center, Uzbekistan’s national allergy institute.
The agreement includes practical, long-term collaboration such as:
- Joint development of allergy diagnostic technologies
- Cooperative research on immune responses and allergenic components
- Execution of clinical and scientific projects
- Training and capacity-building programs for medical professionals
- Exchange of technical and research data
Both parties agreed to gradually expand the collaboration to elevate Uzbekistan’s allergy diagnostic standards to international levels.
