=========================================================
Record-High Third-Quarter Results Achieved, Growth Momentum Continues
Capturing Domestic and Overseas Markets with the World’s Broadest Simultaneous Diagnostic Technology
PROTIA’s shares are showing strength.
According to the Korea Exchange on the 18th, the stock closed at KRW 6,480, up 3.02% on the day.
The share price is rising sharply along its five-day moving average.
PROTIA’s efforts to strengthen its competitiveness in the global allergy diagnostics market through its proprietary PLA-based technology appear to be having a positive impact on its share price.
PROTIA develops, manufactures, and sells medical devices based on core immunodiagnostic technologies.
The company produces and supplies human diagnostic products incorporating technology capable of simultaneously testing the world’s largest number of allergens, Korea’s first allergy diagnostic products for companion animals, and antimicrobial susceptibility testing products using a capacitance measurement method. Through these products, the company has secured both technological innovation and differentiated competitiveness in domestic and overseas markets.
With the capability to develop 192-line allergy diagnostic products, PROTIA is accelerating its global expansion by extending exports beyond India, Russia, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East into the North American market. Its strategy is to expand overseas sales by establishing stable supply chains across various countries and regions.
The company recently achieved its highest-ever quarterly results in the third quarter, continuing its growth momentum. Its PLA-based allergy diagnostic technology and diverse product portfolio are considered to have contributed to the increase in revenue.
PLA, or Proximity Ligation Assay-based allergy diagnostic technology, is known as a next-generation diagnostic technology that incorporates molecular biology techniques to achieve significantly higher sensitivity and precision than conventional immunoassay methods such as ELISA.
An industry official said, “PROTIA is establishing itself as a leading company in the allergy diagnostics market by combining its proprietary diagnostic technology with a global export expansion strategy. The expansion of its companion animal products and antimicrobial susceptibility testing products is expected to provide additional growth momentum.”
Vaccine, diagnostic reagent, and disease prevention-related stocks, including those associated with novel influenza and avian influenza, include LabGenomics, Daesung Microbiological Labs, Shinpoong Pharmaceutical, Eagle Veterinary Technology, Yuhan Corporation, Komipharm International, Seegene, Ilyang Pharmaceutical, WooGene B&G, Hanmi Pharmaceutical, Ilsung Pharmaceuticals, Osang Healthcare, Korea Pharma, Bioneer, GC Biopharma, Aprogen Biologics, LabGenomics, GC Holdings, LG Chem, Optipharm, LabGenomics, Sugentech, Kwang Dong Pharmaceutical, Shinpoong Pharmaceutical, CTC Bio, Boditech Med, Access Bio, ProteomeTech, iNtRON Biotechnology, Boditech Med, SK Chemicals, Access Bio, Boryung, Exergy21, SK Bioscience, Kolmar Holdings, Gene Bio Tech, Seegene, BL, PCL, Sugentech, CHA Vaccine Research Institute, GeneOne Life Science, Ilsung Pharmaceuticals, SK Chemicals, Daehan New Pharm, Quratis, Bioneer, and NKMAX.
